Strategic Metal Recovery

Silica Flour
Silica flour is a high-value byproduct formed in the carbothermic reduction of high-purity quartz with carbonaceous materials like coal, coke, and wood chips in electric arc furnaces. It is an effective pozzolanic material due to its extreme fineness and high silica content.

Proppants and Enhanced Oil Recovery
Hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, involves the high-pressure injection of “fracking fluid” to create cracks in bedrock formations, allowing natural gas, petroleum, and brine to flow more freely.
Our process creates engineered, uniform particle size, high-value proppants ideally suited for the oil and gas industry. These proppants keep fissures open longer and possess higher compressive strength than traditional sand.
Cenospheres
Cenospheres are lightweight, inert, hollow spheres filled with air or inert gas produced as a byproduct of coal-burning power plants. They provide buoyancy due to their low density and have a variety of applications.
